What The......?

Okay - now I know teens will be teens....but really - I NEVER thought that my life would end up being as such when I had kids. Okay - Nick (18 yrs. ) did something, well - inappropriate - I asked the next day as he was sitting vegging on the couch - "Why the Hell did you do "the inappropriate thing" last night?" Wanna know what he answered me? Okay - here goes - "Mom - do you want to know the truth?" Okay - WHAT THE HELL? No - I would like you to tell me lies.....as many and as creative as you can possibly come up with! Do I want to know the truth? Man - life can be sooooooooooo strange in my house. Here's another.... we get home from work and go into the house - oh - let's say around 5:00 pm. Dave's home - but says Nick has gone out but didn't say when he would be back - or back at all! (Which in most cases - this happens every night). Regardless - Tim was in a rush that morning and he always grabs the newspaper from the mailbox in the morning....that morning...too busy - didn't happen. So instead of the morning - after work he heads for the front door - goes to get the mail and the paper and what do we find in our mailbox along with the newspaper and mail? A pair of socks! He looks at me and says - "Why are there a pair of socks in our mailbox?" He was confused - I was confused - and this was at the beginning of the week. Well - Nick hadn't really been home for more than like a 3 minute flash in and out for the past week - but last night - I sat him down - and among other things - I asked if he knew anything about socks in the mailbox...well - I guess I didn't really see the humour - until he absolutely lost it - major hysterics! (And we were supposed to be having a serious conversation!) I mean really - someone finding a pair of socks in one's mailbox is - to say the least rather funny! Needless to say - the heart to heart - mother/son talk was now over - because Nick could no longer get through ANY sentence without bursting into laughter! For some reason - today - I find this also hilarious...last night - not so much.............at least my life isn't boring.......DIZ

Water vs Wine

It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in feces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poo. However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

WATER = CRAP
WINE = HEALTH

It is better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.
